My my my, how money seems to fly out of my hands as soon as i get some. I swear, broke must be my damn middle name, I got about 125 dollars between my parents and grandma for my B-day, and POOF, the shit was gone in 2 DAYS! I had lunch with my girls, went out and bought a dress, got a lil gas, renewed my license, and am left with 30 dollars! And 25 of that's bout be put right into good ole birth control. SMH lol. Luckily, I received a pink envelope with a b-day card from my Auntie Celia. Enclosed was a nice piece of change, so I'm feeling a bit comfy again lol.

So I've been 21 now, for like about 2 days lol. And as I was watching this Mya video (my love is like whoa), I remembered how bad I wanted to get a nose ring. Not no OD hoop joint; but a nice lil stud joint. My parents acted like it was the worst thing in the world and acted like they wouldn't talk to me ever again if I got it. So after thinking about it over and over again, I decided I'd wait till I was 21 and if I still wanted it I'd get it.

Well, I kinda still want it. lol
Its funny tho cuz I'm still tryna get a government job when I graduate. Therefore I'd prolly only have this joint for like what 1 year? lol Then again I could take it out while at work right? lol yea yea I know what your probably thinking...thats dumb, if you get it you might as well really enjoy it. Very true.

21 years of existence..

How true is that quote? Is it too soon to believe in it now? Maybe, maybe not. One thing is for sure, this day, my 21st birthday, the true ending to my child-like youth, is one of those big days. And in fact, what I believe is that life is full of moments that change it periodically. In turn those moments shape your past, present, and future, in other words, your life.

Ok ok, enough of the philosophical statements. I'M 21! And although I don't feel as enthralled as I thought I would, it still feels good. This is the first birthday of mine where I instantly feel the age. Don't know if its a good thing or not but uh, its different. And you know what, right about now, different feels good.

My wonderful parents, brother and grandmother started off my b-day with a surprise @ 12; complete with my fave ice cream cake listed in my wish list! :-D CARVELLLL!

They made me feel so special, I cried. Yea, I'm a real sappy one. lol.


Shout out to my lil bro for planning the whole thing! Being the mother that she is, my mom gave me a tiara along with some birthday decor for saturday. Oh yea, and lets not forget the moohlah! ;-) Shopping!!!

So now i'm off to bed ready to continue the rest of my day with a couple of my girls and bookie, in a short few hours.

Just wanna have fun♥

Girls just wanna have fun...especially on their 21st birthdays!

Sooo... Just found out that a couple of my plans will have to be deaded for my b-day. :-\ BLOWN.
You know, I was just watching the Good Lovin by Slim & Ryan Leslie & Fabolous video gettin a tad angered. The setting of the video reminded me of how i wanted to spend my birthday. All I was banking on doing for my 21st birthday was being a lady and sippin on something pretty while lookin siditty with my gurls. And later... coming home to my boyfriend. ;-) lol

BUT NOOOOO, that can't happen. Guess we'll have to go to a shitty ass club that we've already been to with everyone bunched up. I could go to LOVE, which is probably the nicest 18 and up club in DC, pero.... I dun wanna. :-( Call me spoiled but I did that my 19th year. And frankly, LOVE can be for the birds sometimes.

Welp, in other news. I would like to list the things I absolutely have to do even if that means not to party:
1. See my bookers and "celebrate" my b-day
2. Spend time w/ mi familia on my actual birthday
3. HAVE A CHOCOLATE LOVERS CARVEL ICE CREAM CAKE :o)
4. See the Notorious movie
5. *Last But Not Least* Enjoy MY DAY, with LITTLE TO NO STRESS!

Don't know if it'll happen that way, but it would be nice. Some other things that would be *nice* would be the following:
1. A new pair of glasses
2. To drink a bahama mama, godiva liquor drink, nice champagne, and/or NUVO
3. and..World Peace

lol I guess the last one was a lil extra, but hey its a wish list!

Starting A New

Starting a new year helps one to start a new...

Hey bloggers, my name is Anastasia. For now i can be affectionately reffered to as Staize. I'm not that complicated, but i'm far from shallow. I'll let you decide that for yourself through my blogging. I'm new to blog spot, however not new to blogging. Yea I had a lil xanga joint back in the day lol. But yea I felt that this year I had to get back to my writing roots. It took a while to start, but now that I have, I think I'll be writing alot more frequently. Hope you enjoy....

I went through a lil drama academically in school this past semester. Oh yea I am in college, a seasoned junior at that. UMD is cool, but Terpville ain't whats all cracked up to be :-\. Once again, thats left to the viewers discretion. But frankly, I'm ready to graduate and leave. Nevertheless, I am proud to say that I passed. Maybe not with flying colors, but damnit, I got through it.

My Christmas was spent with my loving family in NY. Had lots of fun times with my family and late slumbers til the afternoon.

I tried Sushi for the first time and actually liked it!

And last but not least, my adoring significant other was just in time to accompany me for the ushering of the new year. And he got to meet alot of my family! Thats another thing i guess i should've mentioned.

I have a boyfriend.

A pretty good one at that. He's no saint, be he sure is special.
I must confess, I do love him, alot. ;-)

...but enough of that mushy shit. This is only the first blog kiddos!

As the new year came upon us I realized that there were alot of things I needed to make sure I did in 2009. One of those were to take better care of myself and the other was to be more proactive in everything I do.


From those two tree stumps, I have many branches. Guess we'll see how it goes huh?



I am rather long winded so I guess I should stop here aye? I'll end here then with speaking of whats soon to come. Yessss bitches, My 21st is coming close. as of right now its about 7 days away. 1 week!!! :-) happy day! Can't wait to party and see the new NOTORIOUS movie of course! more on that next time....
